Private Tour Guidelines
The vehicle and dedicated driver are exclusively for your party — no sharing.
Included in the price: your driver-guide, the private vehicle, fuel, parking fees and tolls.
Not included: attraction admissions, meals and drinks, and tips. Admissions and meals are paid individually on site.
The sample itineraries shown are examples — actual stops and order are confirmed together after booking.
Within the booked hours, the day can be freely arranged or changed to your requests.
Exceeding the booked hours may incur an additional per-hour charge.
Pickup and drop-off are at the cruise terminal your ship berths at. This is a shore-excursion charter, so hotel and KTX pickup are not offered.
Destinations outside Busan (Gyeongju, for example) add ₩130,000.
Not included
Not included: optional add-ons and time extensions arranged during the tour — these are paid in cash to your guide on the day.
Why this tour suits you

- Travelers with mobility, dietary, or pace requirements that group tours can't accommodate
- Solo or budget travelers — private pricing is per vehicle, not per person
- Travelers who want to mix with other guests for a social, group-tour atmosphere
- Cruise passengers whose port call is too short for a full 8-hour day ashore
- Anyone wanting a fixed, pre-set route rather than planning the day with the guide
Families: Fits depend on this route’s stops and pacing—see the day-flow and practical sections for age notes.Seniors: Comfort levels vary by segment; use lighter options where offered and confirm walking expectations for this itinerary.
Why a private charter wins for cruise shore days
Return timing comes first
Group tours run on a shared clock. A private tour lets the guide plan around your ship's all-aboard time and adjust the last stop if traffic gets heavy.
Busan is geographically spread out
Busan is spread out, with bridges, coastal roads, hills, and one-way downtown streets. A private vehicle reduces waiting time and keeps the day realistic.
Customize without re-quoting
Swap Jagalchi for Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, skip the Tower observatory, add the Sky Capsule, or extend lunch — the price is per vehicle, not per change.
What's included vs. pay-direct
Included
Private vehicle and driver for your group only, English- and Chinese-speaking guide, all tolls and parking. Pickup and drop-off are at the cruise terminal your ship berths at — this is a shore-excursion charter, so hotel and KTX pickup are not offered on it.
Pay direct
Lunch (10,000–20,000 KRW p/p), Danubi Train at Taejongdae (₩4,000), Busan Tower observatory (₩12,000), Sky Capsule if added. All admissions are reasonable — there is no hidden surcharge from us.
Add-ons available
Gimhae Airport pickup or drop-off as a separate paid service; overtime at 30,000 KRW per hour cash to driver.
Cruise-specific safeguards
Full refund if your ship can't dock
If your ship cannot dock in Busan because of weather or port conditions, the tour is eligible for a full refund.
Driver tracks your ship's departure time
We confirm your ship's arrival and all-aboard time, then pace the day against the real port-call schedule.
Vehicle plate number shared in advance
You know exactly which car you're looking for at the terminal arrival hall — no scrambling among the crowds of cruise meet-and-greets.

Seasonal variations
How this route feels through the year.
Spring (Mar–May)
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Autumn (Sep–Nov)
Winter (Dec–Feb)
- Pickup at Busan Port International Cruise Terminal (Dongsam-dong) for large ships, or International Passenger Terminal (Choryang) for smaller vessels — whichever terminal your ship uses.
- The 8-hour service time is planned around your specific all-aboard time, not a fixed clock.
- Return drop-off at the same terminal, minimum 60 minutes before your all-aboard time.
- Included: Private vehicle and driver for your group only · English- and Chinese-speaking guide · Round-trip transfer from and to your cruise terminal · Tolls, parking and fuel · Booking fee
- Not included: Entrance fees at every stop · Meals and drinks · Personal expenses · Gratuities · Travel insurance
- The default route covers UN Memorial Cemetery, Taejongdae, Gamcheon Culture Village, Yongdusan Park, and Jagalchi Market.
- You can swap or add stops (e.g., Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Haeundae Beach) up to 24 hours before, subject to time availability.
- Guide can also adjust timing within the day to spend more time at your preferred stop.
- Sedan (up to 3 guests), SUV/MPV (up to 5), or van (6–10 guests) — vehicle type assigned based on group size at booking.
- No other passengers share the vehicle; the day runs entirely around your group's schedule.
- All vehicles are air-conditioned with USB charging.
- If your ship diverts or cancels the Busan port call, notify us immediately for a full refund.
- Light rain: tour operates as normal. Typhoon-force weather: full refund or reschedule.
- Taejongdae's cliff trail closes in heavy rain, and the Danubi Train is suspended in heavy rain or strong wind. If both are down we move Taejongdae later in the day or swap it for the Busan Diamond Tower observatory, which is indoors.
- Your driver-guide speaks fluent English, and Chinese-speaking (Mandarin) driver-guides are part of the same service; tell us your preferred language at booking and we assign the guide to match.
- Gamcheon Culture Village's hillside alleys are not wheelchair-accessible and stroller-difficult.
- Taejongdae Danubi Train (₩4,000) is a good alternative to the cliff walk for mobility-limited guests.
- Out-of-hours surcharge: if your charter starts before 07:00, or finishes after 20:00, a surcharge of ₩50,000 per hour applies and is paid on the day.
- Outside Busan: destinations beyond the Busan city boundary add ₩130,000 to the charter.
- Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before the charter starts. Inside 24 hours the booking is non-refundable, except when your ship cannot dock or the Busan port call is cancelled. In that case you are refunded in full however late the news arrives.
- Minimum age: guests must be 4 years or older.
- Cruise passengers only: this charter is sold to guests arriving on a cruise ship calling at Busan. Bookings from travellers without a Busan port call are declined and refunded.
- Return timing: the day is built around your ship's all-aboard time, and the drop-off is scheduled ahead of it.

Questions
The few questions that usually decide it.
Sedan for 1–3 guests, SUV or MPV for 4–5, mid-size van for 6–10. Vehicle type is assigned from your group size at booking; parties over 10 are quoted as two vehicles.
If your ship cannot dock at Busan due to weather or port conditions, you receive a full refund. If the ship is simply delayed, the driver waits and adjusts the itinerary; the 8-hour period starts from actual pickup time.
Yes — fully. Send your preferred stops at booking and we'll confirm a workable order. The default 5-stop cruise itinerary is a starting point, not a fixed plan. Common substitutions include Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Sky Capsule, and Beomeosa Temple.
No — Gimhae Airport pickup or drop-off is a separate paid add-on (not part of the standard cruise-shore period), since the airport is on the western edge of the metropolitan area. Please request at booking and we'll quote the add-on price.
