More variety than the standard Suwon tour
Most Suwon day tours combine the fortress, palace, and Starfield Library — three stops within ten minutes of each other. This version adds Gwangmyeong Cave, a completely different landscape (underground, art-themed, year-round 12°C) that you can't easily reach from Suwon by public transit.
Indoor-friendly fallback for any weather
Two of the four major stops — Starfield Library and Gwangmyeong Cave — are fully indoors and climate-controlled. The fortress walks are short enough to handle rain or summer heat. A reliable choice when the weather is dramatic.
Free admission, paid context
Starfield Library is free to enter on your own — but it's much more rewarding with a guide who can explain why a mall built it (Shinsegae's MZ-generation strategy), how it differs from the COEX original, and where the best photo angles are without disturbing readers.
